Job Overview

At Zepto, frontend engineers own entire feature areas — not just implementing designs, but shaping the product experience. As an SDE I Frontend, you'll work at Zepto's relentless pace, shipping features weekly that reach millions of users, with more ownership and faster growth than most companies offer at any level.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Zepto's consumer web and PWA app using React.js and Next.js — product catalog, cart, checkout, and order tracking flows
• Develop search, filtering, and recommendation UI modules for Zepto's 5,000+ SKU grocery catalog
• Build 10-minute delivery countdown timers, real-time order tracking, and dark store routing interfaces
• Implement high-performance image-heavy grocery catalog pages with efficient loading for varying network conditions
• Build Zepto Pass subscription management and loyalty program UI features
• Iterate rapidly on features based on real-time user behavior data and A/B experiment results

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS from a top engineering college — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong React.js and JavaScript skills — Zepto hires for high potential, not just experience
• Strong DSA skills — Zepto's interview is technically rigorous
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and comfort with ambiguity in a startup environment
• Genuine interest in quick commerce, grocery tech, or consumer product development
