Frontend Developer – Mobility Tech

About This Role

Rapido is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Frontend Developers – Mobility Tech to build the web and PWA interfaces that power India's largest bike-taxi and auto-rickshaw platform — enabling affordable and fast last-mile mobility for 100 million+ Indian commuters.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Rapido's web booking flow, real-time ride tracking, and captain (driver) dashboard using React.js
• Develop PWA features for offline booking, push notifications, and background location tracking
• Build real-time map interfaces using Google Maps or Mapbox for live ride tracking and ETA display
• Develop Rapido for Business portal — corporate ride booking, fleet management, and expense reporting dashboards
• Implement performance optimizations for low-end Android devices and 2G/3G network conditions common in Tier 2/3 cities
• Build captain-side web tools for ride acceptance, earnings tracking, and support interactions

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in CS or related field — 2024/2025 batch
• JavaScript and React.js fundamentals with project experience
• Interest in mobility technology, maps, or real-time tracking applications
• Understanding of PWA capabilities and mobile-first development
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to tackle Tier 2/3 India tech challenges
