SDE I – Frontend

About This Role

Urban Company is hiring fresh engineering graduates as SDE I – Frontend to build the consumer booking platform and partner professional tools that power India's and the Middle East's leading home services marketplace — where technology enables trust, quality, and convenience for millions of households.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Urban Company's consumer booking web flows — service discovery, scheduling, real-time partner tracking, and post-service review interfaces using React.js
• Develop partner professional web tools — job acceptance, route navigation, service checklist, and earnings management dashboards
• Implement real-time partner tracking maps and live booking status update interfaces
• Build home services catalog interfaces with image-heavy service listings, pricing configurators, and package selection tools
• Develop accessibility-first interfaces for a diverse customer base across age groups and digital literacy levels
• Work in product squads with product managers and designers on rapid feature iterations

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or related field — 2024/2025 graduation
• Strong React.js and JavaScript skills
• Understanding of real-time UIs, map integrations, or booking flow development is a plus
• Product thinking mindset and empathy for consumer experience quality
• Strong DSA background for technical interview process
