Frontend Developer – E-commerce

About This Role

Lenskart is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Frontend Developers – E-commerce to build innovative eyewear shopping experiences — including AR-powered virtual try-on, frame selection, prescription management, and omnichannel retail tools for India's #1 eyewear brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Lenskart's e-commerce web platform using React.js and Next.js — product catalog, virtual try-on, prescription upload, and checkout flows
• Develop AR virtual try-on web features using WebAR and face landmark detection APIs for glasses fitting
• Build 3D product visualization components for frame and lens customization tools
• Develop omnichannel features connecting Lenskart's web, app, and 2,000+ physical store experiences
• Implement high-performance image galleries with zoom, 360-degree view, and responsive product photography
• Build prescription management tools with complex lens power input validation and optical specification handling

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS or related field — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong JavaScript and React.js skills with Next.js exposure
• Interest in AR/WebAR technologies, 3D web rendering, or e-commerce UX
• Understanding of image optimization, lazy loading, and e-commerce performance
• Good problem-solving skills and product-thinking mindset
