Junior Frontend Developer – EdTech

About This Role

BYJU'S is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Junior Frontend Developers to build engaging, interactive educational web experiences for millions of students across India and globally — making learning more personalized, visual, and effective through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build interactive learning web interfaces using React.js — lessons, quizzes, assessments, and adaptive learning flows
• Develop rich media learning components including video players, interactive whiteboard tools, and math equation renderers
• Build gamification UI elements — badges, leaderboards, streaks, and progress tracking interfaces that motivate student engagement
• Implement WebRTC-based live class interfaces including video layouts, chat, polls, and real-time collaboration tools
• Optimize web applications for low-bandwidth conditions and ensure accessibility for diverse student populations
• Collaborate with instructional designers, content teams, and backend engineers in product development

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in CS or related field — 2024/2025 graduation
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js fundamentals demonstrated through projects
• Interest in educational technology and learning product design
• Exposure to WebRTC, canvas APIs, or media player development is a plus
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
