Frontend Developer – New Grad

About This Role

Paytm is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Frontend Developers (New Grad) to build the web experiences used by 300 million+ Indians — contributing to Paytm's payments, banking, and financial services web platforms at massive scale.

Job Overview

As a Paytm New Grad Frontend Developer, you will work on Paytm's consumer and merchant web products — building highly performant, accessible React.js applications that serve hundreds of millions of users across payments, Paytm Bank, insurance, and lending products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, performant React.js web applications for Paytm's consumer and merchant products
• Optimize web performance — Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle size optimization
• Develop secure frontend forms and payment flows — implementing PCI-DSS compliant payment input handling
• Build progressive web app (PWA) features including service workers, offline caching, and push notifications
• Implement A/B testing and feature flag integrations for product experiments
• Monitor production frontend errors and performance using tools like Sentry and New Relic

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, IT, or related field — 2024/2025 graduation
• Strong JavaScript and React.js skills with hands-on project experience
• Understanding of web performance optimization and browser rendering
• Knowledge of PWA concepts, service workers, and offline-first design is a plus
• Competitive programming background (LeetCode, Codeforces) is appreciated at Paytm
• Interest in fintech, payments, and India's digital economy ecosystem
