Job Overview

EPAM's junior developer program combines real project work with mentorship from senior engineers across EPAM's global network. As a Junior JavaScript Developer, you will build high-quality web applications using React.js and Node.js, participating in EPAM's engineering learning ecosystem while contributing to client projects alongside experienced teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web application UIs using React.js with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Build REST API integrations and implement efficient data fetching with React Query or SWR
• Write high-quality, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
• Engage with EPAM's global engineering community — tech talks, knowledge sharing, and learning programs
• Follow EPAM's engineering quality standards — code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals — closures, prototypes, async/await, event loop
• React.js project experience (personal or academic) with hooks and functional components
• Understanding of web performance, browser rendering, and JavaScript runtime
• EPAM's engineering assessment (coding test + technical interview) is part of the hiring process
• Demonstrated passion for software craftsmanship — personal projects, open source contributions, or competitive coding
