About This Role

Persistent Systems is seeking driven fresh graduates to join its expanding digital engineering practice as Junior Web Developers — contributing to modern cloud-native application development and digital platform engineering projects for clients in healthcare, BFSI, and technology sectors.

Job Overview

As a Junior Web Developer at Persistent, you will build full-featured web applications as part of Persistent's product engineering teams — gaining real-world experience in frontend development, API integration, and cloud deployment practices in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web application frontends using React.js or Angular with TypeScript
• Build accessible, responsive UI layouts using CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material-UI)
• Integrate web applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, implementing secure authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Write unit tests and integration tests for frontend components
• Use Git for version control, follow branching strategies, and participate in pull request code reviews
• Deploy frontend applications to cloud platforms (AWS Amplify, Azure Static Web Apps, Vercel)

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline — 2024/2025 batch
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals
• React.js or Angular experience through personal projects or internships
• Familiarity with npm, Webpack, or Vite build tools
• Basic understanding of RESTful API concepts and JSON data handling
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning, problem-solving, and collaborative development
