Tata Elxsi is inviting fresh graduates to join as Junior Frontend Developers — contributing to cutting-edge digital product and UI engineering projects across automotive, media, healthcare, and industrial domains for some of the world's most iconic brands.

Job Overview

As a Junior Frontend Developer at Tata Elxsi, you will work alongside experienced UI engineers to build pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces for product engineering projects — developing your skills in modern JavaScript frameworks while gaining exposure to design systems and agile delivery.

Role Context

Tata Elxsi's digital experience and UI engineering practice partners with global automotive and media clients to deliver connected vehicle HMIs, streaming platform UIs, and enterprise web applications. Freshers join structured learning cohorts before being deployed on live projects, making it an excellent launchpad for a frontend career.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Build reusable UI components in React.js or Angular following component-driven architecture
• Translate Figma/XD design mockups into pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible web pages
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows using fetch/Axios and state management libraries
• Write clean, modular code with proper documentation and participate in peer code reviews
• Troubleshoot and fix UI bugs identified during testing and user acceptance review

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics — 2024 or 2025 batch
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and core JavaScript concepts
• Exposure to React.js or Angular through projects, internships, or coursework
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset
