About This Role
Genpact is seeking a skilled Data Scientist – Process Intelligence to apply ML, process mining, and intelligent automation to drive measurable business process improvements for Genpact's global enterprise clients — combining data science with Genpact's deep process excellence heritage.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply ML and statistical models to analyze business process data and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
- Use process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining) combined with ML to map and optimize enterprise processes (finance, supply chain, procurement)
- Build predictive models for process KPIs including SLA breach prediction, exception handling, and escalation risk
- Design NLP models for document processing, unstructured data extraction, and intelligent intake automation
- Collaborate with Genpact's Intelligent Automation, RPA, and Analytics teams to design end-to-end intelligent process solutions
- Present data findings and process improvement recommendations to client operations and C-suite leadership
Requirements & Skills
- B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, Engineering, or Statistics
- 2–5 years of data science or analytics experience
- Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with process mining tools is a plus
- NLP and document AI experience (layout-aware models, OCR, information extraction) is valued
- Understanding of enterprise business processes (finance, procurement, supply chain) is helpful
