About This Role
Nykaa is looking for a consumer-obsessed Data Scientist – Customer Intelligence to build ML models that personalize the beauty and fashion shopping experience for Nykaa's 30 million+ loyal customers — driving discovery, retention, and long-term customer value through data-driven intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customer segmentation, persona, and propensity models for personalized product recommendations, promotional targeting, and lifecycle campaigns
- Develop customer lifetime value (LTV) and churn prediction models for Nykaa's beauty and fashion categories
- Design and analyze marketing attribution models (multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling) for Nykaa's digital marketing spend
- Build recommendation systems for beauty product discovery — incorporating content-based, collaborative filtering, and trend-based signals
- Partner with product, marketing, and category teams to operationalize customer intelligence insights into campaigns and features
Requirements & Skills
- B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA in CS, Statistics, or a quantitative field
- 3–6 years of experience in customer analytics, ML, or product data science in a consumer internet company
- Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in recommendation systems and customer segmentation
- Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and attribution modeling
- Interest in beauty, fashion, and consumer lifestyle is a genuine plus at Nykaa
