Tiger Analytics is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to spearhead end-to-end data science delivery for Fortune 500 clients, combining deep technical expertise with strong client engagement skills within one of India's fastest-growing premium analytics boutiques.
Job Overview
As a Tiger Analytics Lead Data Scientist, you will own the analytical strategy and technical delivery for high-stakes client engagements, designing and implementing advanced ML solutions across consumer analytics, supply chain, risk, and marketing — while leading and growing a team of data scientists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full data science lifecycle for 2–3 concurrent client engagements — from problem scoping through model delivery and business impact measurement
- Develop and validate advanced ML solutions including deep learning, time series models, NLP, and optimization algorithms
- Design analytics strategies and present data-driven recommendations to senior VP-level client stakeholders
- Lead a team of 3–6 data scientists — setting technical direction, reviewing deliverables, and developing team members' skills
- Build reusable ML assets, internal accelerators, and methodologies for Tiger Analytics' delivery practice
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and scoping discussions
Requirements & Skills
- M.Tech/M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a quantitative field — Statistics, CS, Operations Research, or Economics preferred
- 6–10 years of data science experience with strong track record of leading analytics deliveries for large clients
- Expert modeling skills across classical ML, deep learning, and specialized domains (NLP, time series, causal inference)
- Prior experience in consumer analytics, CPG, retail, or financial services analytics is strongly preferred
- Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and client relationship management skills
