Fractal Analytics is hiring a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced AI and analytics solutions for Fortune 500 clients — operating within one of India's most prestigious pure-play AI and analytics companies with global recognition for data science innovation.

Job Overview

As a Fractal Senior Data Scientist, you will own the modeling and analytical delivery for complex client engagements, building sophisticated machine learning solutions in consumer goods, retail, BFSI, and healthcare — while contributing to Fractal's growing reputation as a leader in responsible AI and applied data science.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science delivery for client engagements — from hypothesis generation to model production and business value tracking
• Build advanced predictive models including demand forecasting, customer churn, pricing optimization, and marketing mix modeling
• Apply causal inference, Bayesian methods, and experimental design to evaluate campaign and product decisions
• Mentor junior data scientists and review code, models, and analytical deliverables for quality
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to shape problem definitions and present model findings with business context
• Contribute to Fractal's AI thought leadership through white papers, conference presentations, and internal knowledge sharing

Requirements & Skills

• M.Tech/M.Sc./Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field preferred
• 5–9 years of applied data science experience with measurable business impact
• Expert Python and R skills; deep understanding of ML algorithms, model validation, and uncertainty quantification
• Experience with marketing analytics (MMM, attribution modeling) or supply chain analytics is highly valued
• Strong causal inference and experimental design skills (A/B testing, difference-in-differences)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
